Terms and Conditions

These terms govern use of Gnu Group Learning Academy, optional paid certification services and paid practitioner laboratory access. The Academy is operated by GNU IT Solutions and Services under the brand name Gnu Group.

Free learning

Published learning material may be accessed without purchasing certification unless a specific program clearly states otherwise.

Learning progress

My Learning is a learner-controlled progress record. Opening a module may mark it in progress; completion requires the learner to record the module as completed after the relevant lab and knowledge checks. Browser-local progress is not itself an assessment result or professional credential. Email-based sync is optional and is used to resume learning across devices and, where applicable, verify course-completion eligibility.

Practitioner laboratory access

Where a practitioner programme is sold as paid access, the published fee covers access to the stated casework and workbench features. A separate free public reference may remain available on GNU Legal. Practitioner access does not by itself certify professional competence, confer a regulated title or guarantee a credential.

Certification eligibility

Payment does not establish successful completion. Learners must satisfy the published assessment and completion requirements before the optional certification service becomes available.

Payments and GST

Eligible certification and practitioner-access payments are processed through Razorpay, an approved third-party payment gateway. Published India Fundamentals certification fees and practitioner-access fees are displayed as GST-inclusive amounts where GST billing is enabled. The Academy records the taxable value, GST amount, SAC and applicable CGST/SGST or IGST split using the billing State / UT supplied at checkout.

Where international checkout is made available, international card transactions may be presented in INR; card-network or issuer conversion and fees, if any, are controlled by the card issuer/payment network. The learner must provide the billing/delivery address, postal code and destination country used for the private tax/export record. Where the Academy is configured for zero-rated export under LUT, that treatment is applied only to transactions treated as eligible export supplies; the application does not infer export eligibility merely from browser location.

Where a tax invoice is generated, it is based on the verified Academy payment record, the supplier GST identity and the billing/export snapshot captured for that order. Learners should contact the Academy promptly if billing information is incorrect.

The merchant identity shown during payment or on transaction records may correspond to Gnu Group and/or GNU IT Solutions and Services, subject to the approved Razorpay merchant profile.

The Academy does not ask learners to disclose card numbers, CVV, OTP, UPI PINs or banking passwords to Academy staff or by email.

Misuse and entitlement status

Gnu Group may withhold or revoke a certificate where there is credible evidence of fraud, impersonation, assessment manipulation, chargeback, payment reversal or full refund. Paid practitioner access may likewise be suspended or revoked for fraud, abuse, payment reversal or full refund, consistent with the Refund Policy and applicable law.

Changes

Course content, assessment criteria and fees may change prospectively. Material changes will not silently alter an already issued certificate record.
